I am a contemporary abstract artist/designer/maker in Rochester, NY. A creative explorer and passionate experimenter, I think outside of boxes, color outside of lines, and am inclined to follow the road less traveled.

My work explores the interplay of color, light, and line within inner and outer landscapes, giving form to moments and memories—seen and unseen, near and far, past and present. I am drawn to the power of simplicity and the poetry of paradox: the sound of silence, the weight of emptiness, the presence within absence.

Through an intuitive process of distillation and reduction, I create abstract works that unfold in dialogue with materials. I work fluidly across sewing, collage, painting, and digital drawing, selecting what best resolves the conceptual and formal concerns of each work.

References to stitching, quilting, weaving, and mending emerge as metaphors for the structures that bind us—personal, cultural, and societal. These elements explore the tension between fragility and resilience, impermanence and permanence. My work seeks to distill complexity into quiet, evocative forms that invite contemplation.

“Pare down to the essence, but don't remove the poetry."
