Studio Notes

Studio Notes are occasional emails from my studio — notes about process, materials, and the slow unfolding of new work.

They’re written in between making:
while paper or canvas is readied,
while light shifts,
while a line is followed rather than planned.

The notes are not announcements or promotions.
They’re small pauses — a way of sharing where the work is going, before it arrives.

I never quite know when the next one will suggest itself to me—and that’s part of the joy!
